Our Mission

To lead people to
become fully
devoted followers
of Christ.

That’s how we’re able to make a difference. And it’s the driving force behind everything we do.

A Legacy of Faith,
Family and Fellowship

Our History

In 1992, New Born Fellowship Church, Inc. began its journey of faith with its inaugural worship service at 889 Atlantic Avenue in Rochester, New York, under the leadership of Dr. Warren E. Meeks, Sr.

What began with Dr. Meeks' immediate family and twelve other founding families was more than the beginning of a congregation—it was the beginning of a ministry committed to faith, family, fellowship, and community. From its earliest days, New Born Fellowship was established on the Word of God with a desire to strengthen families, empower individuals, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As the ministry grew, so did the need for a place that could support its expanding congregation and vision. In 1996, New Born Fellowship reached an important milestone with the purchase of its first church building and second worship location at 123 Barberry Terrace. The new home provided greater opportunity for the church to expand its ministry and continue serving families throughout the Rochester community.

The journey continued in 2005 when New Born Fellowship, experiencing continued growth, purchased its second building and established its third worship location at 1550 North Clinton Avenue. The larger facility provided additional space for worship, ministry, fellowship, and the continued advancement of the church's mission.

From a small gathering of families in 1992 to an established ministry with a growing presence in the community, New Born Fellowship Church has remained rooted in the same foundation upon which it began: faith in God, love for people, strong families, and a commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Each chapter of our history represents more than a change of location. It represents growth, perseverance, answered prayer, and God's faithfulness throughout the journey.

And the story of New Born Fellowship continues to be written.
