Is Baptism Your Next Step?
Every journey of faith is filled with opportunities to grow closer to God. If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ, baptism is one of the most meaningful steps you can take in your walk with Him.
Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and a celebration of the new life you have received through Christ. While baptism does not save you, it is an act of obedience that demonstrates your commitment to follow Jesus and share your faith with others.
Below, you'll learn what the Bible teaches about baptism, what to expect during a baptism at New Born Fellowship Church, and how you can take this important next step in your faith journey.

What Is Baptism All About?
A Symbol of New Life
Baptism is a powerful outward expression of the inward transformation that takes place when we place our faith in Jesus Christ. It does not save us; rather, it symbolizes the new life we have received through Him.
When a person is lowered into the water, it represents Jesus' death, burial, and the forgiveness of our sins through His sacrifice on the cross. As they are raised out of the water, it reflects the resurrection of Christ and the new life we now have because of Him.
Baptism is a beautiful reminder that our old life has passed away and that we have been made new in Christ.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!" ~ 2 Corinthians 5:17
A Public Declaration of Faith
Choosing to follow Jesus is the most important decision a person can make, and baptism is the opportunity to publicly declare that decision.
It's a moment to stand before your church family, friends, and loved ones and share that your life has been changed by the grace of God. As you celebrate your baptism, you also become a witness to the hope, forgiveness, and new beginning found in Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to invite your family and friends to celebrate this meaningful milestone with you.
